I'm supporting a PFC based application and have run into an interesting situation. I have a sheet which contains a u_tab control. The tab control contains 10 pages (not u_tabpg descendents) with many, many, datawindows, list boxes, command buttons, text boxes, etc placed directly on them. The developer did not code any user objects - the control array is lengthy on the tab object.
I added an additional tabpage and placed a custom visual object on it. Afterwords the constructor events on all objects would not fire. I deleted the new tabpage and they fire again. Did I hit a volatility limit? What I did is create u_tabpg descendent for each page, add all the objects, and insert pages as a user object. Now the tab control only has tabpages in the control arrary. The tapages contain all the controls. Then all constructors fired normally with the new page exactly the same. Really weird. I'm in 12.1 on XP.
