I want to be able to see it in the resource monitor or task mgr it is using more memory. I have upgraded to PB 12.6. I do not have any 32bit dlls. The app converted very easy and fast, once I removed the 32bit custom dlls. I removed the 32 bit dlls and create the exe with the 32 bit option then with the 64 and first test with 32 bit and timed it then with 64 bit and timed it. I see only a 10% increase in performance. I go to task manager & resource monitor and both apps show the 32 & 64 are using around 50% of memory. This is a client intensive application with thousands of rows in a datawindow it should be using more memory. 32 bit app takes about an hour to process the rows and the 64 bit app takes about 54 minutes. I have windows 7 64bit, PB 12.6, Sybase 15 8gb ram This could be a windows setting because I try running word, excel... and I can not see it using the 8gb of memory either. How do I get this to use the full 8gb of memory or more and be able to see it is using the full 8gb of memory? thank you so much
