I am a sys admin who was tasked with installing PowerBuilder 12.5.2 on several Windows 7 developer workstations on our network. The first two went great - I downloaded the 12.5.2 software and installed the purchased standalone license, and everything appears to work beautifully. On the third workstation, the developer already had PowerBuilder 10.5 installed, and didn't want to take it off because he was still using it for some of his applications. He said that he read articles that verified that you can install the two versions side by side. So I went ahead and installed it the same way I did with the first two. It appeared to be a successful install, but when I or the user clicks on PowerBuilder Classic 12.5, the application does not open. There is no error message, and nothing in the Event Viewer on the machine. When we click on PowerBuilder .NET 12.5, the application opens just fine. Is there something I need to do to make all of the 12.5 applications work side by side with 10.5?
