working with dll

dear all ,

I want to call a function with in a dll file .

I have decalered the dll in the Local External Functions ( like this : Function long intr2000 (char input[] , char output[] , char env[]) Library "c:\pb11\animal\ash96\INTR32.DLL")

the function should operate something on my screen and i cant see it.

lets say all parameters are correct ,

did i use it right ? thats the way ?

Should i put the dll in the same directory where all my application files are ?
